Brainstorm 2 

Ingredients:

2oz Irish Whiskey

.5oz Dry Vermouth

.25oz Benedictine

Orange Twist

Instructions:

Add the Irish whiskey, dry vermouth and Benedictine to a chilled mixing glass. Add ice and stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the Orange twist.

Notes:

Airy, light citrus nose. Smooth whiskey flavor up front with whisps of smoke. Mild dryness, honey sweet accents and a quick finish. Refreshing and lighter than you might expect.

History:

Brainstorm is another classic credited to Hugo Ensslin, creator of the Aviation and Chrysanthemum, published among many other classics in his Recipes for Mix Drinks (1916).
